2012 Campaign

Blessed Pope John Paull ii

Open Wide the Doors to Christ

Blessed Pope John Paul II is the patron of this year’s annual appeals campaign. The Holy Father’s words invite us to open wide the doors to Christ. As a partner in charity, you can help keep open the doors to Christ by supporting those programs, agencies and offices that do the work of Christ through their ministries.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, Partners in Charity funds 28 charitable, educational and pastoral ministries in the diocese. People who work in these ministries bring peace to mourning families, bring love to suffering children, and bring knowledge to those seeking to learn. They present the face of Christ to others and see the face of Christ in those they serve.

As we prepare to launch this year’s campaign, we seek the Holy Father’s prayers for its success. The need has never been greater.

Thank You for Your Support

Difficult economic times did not deter the generosity of all those of you made a donation to this year's Partners in Charity campaign. We started the campaign with an ambitious $5 million goal, and we were able to reach 94% of this goal. Please check the Parish Update link for final parish results. We realize for many, sacrifices were made and we are very grateful. Know that your contribution will allow the diocese to continue supporting the numerous charitable, educational and ministerial programs that depend on these dollars to operate. Additionally, this year we saw an increase in online and matching gift donations. We hope that you found the process easy and convenient. If you did not have an opportunity to make a donation during the campaign, you can still do so online. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Help us Reach Our Goal of 300 Likes

Did you know that Partners in Charity has a Facebook page? It does, and we want all of our supporters to “Like” our page and recommend it to their Facebook friends. The success of the Partners in Charity campaign is dependent on maintaining the strong partnership we have with our generous supporters while attracting new donors to the campaign. We believe utilizing tools like Facebook will help us meet these objectives. Using Facebook, we will share the most current campaign-related information and updates more frequently.

Help us reach our goal of 300 Likes before the campaign kick-off in February 2012 by visiting our page at www.facebook.com/PartnersInCharity.
